Event Types

The event log records all types of


events that occur in the SAN (e.g. device status, SNMP traps, performance thresholds) as well as SANavigator specific activities (Zoning, LUN masking, logins)

It displays up to the last 2000 events

Event Log Severity

The event log contains three levels of event messages:


Error Warning Informational

Other information includes the device in question, time


stamp, IP address, NWWN, PWWN and a description of the event
