• Light: There must be sufficient light falling on the book or notes you are
studying.
• Temperature: The temperature of the room should be neither too warm nor
too cool, but medium.
• Airiness: Your study room should be well ventilated. The windows should, as
far as possible, be open so that you can inhale fresh air.
• A quiet place: It is necessary that you study in a quiet place away from
disturbance of kind.
• Time: have a fixed time for studies and stick to it religiously, but remember
you should not do any serious study after heavy meal.
• Routine: Organize your time wisely each day.
• Pauses: You should take a break after every one hour or so for five, ten
minutes. This break allows the mind to recognize the material learned.
• Your study table: If the table is cleared and all the books etc. properly
organized, there is less likelihood of you being distracted during study.
• Sitting posture: It has been found that when one is studying, if one’s spine is
straight, and the feet flat on the floor, one can concentrate better.

Try to each well balanced meals and don’t skip any meal. Avoid non
prescription drugs.
