They should give enough liberty to their subordinates to think on their own, to innovate and develop goal orientation. They should encourage subordinates to take ownership of tasks, develop accountability and potential for taking initiatives. They should not act as managers but as leaders; instead of assigning tasks, they should facilitate them in their endeavors.

Yes we believe there are apprehensions among the members of the department in giving opportunities to the youngsters to take charge of critical jobs The apprehensions: 1) Risk Averse 2) Lack of Confidence 3) Lack of conviction to justify his actions 4) Jealousy 5) Destructive Internal Competition The apprehensions can be overcome as follows: 1) Instill values in employee so that they follow values and mission of the company. 2) Build Confidence 3) Healthy Work Ethics / Environment 4) Promote result orientation
