Project was initially held for 9 Km length between Subhash Road to Wasna Dam and later on extended to 20 Km between Wasana Dam to Narmada Canal. 10.4 Km stretch is recently released on 15.08.12 Project Received: HUDCO National Award 2012 for innovative infrastructure development. Prime Minister Award for excellence in Urban planning & Design 1999. Project Cost- 243.30 Crore, Earning through developed land-248.84 Crore Revenue generation (Saving)- 215.54 Crore.

This city will be known for bringing the Sabarmati back to Ahmedabad and for bringing Sabarmati back to the Ahmadabad.!
