Hardware Identity(IMEI) Unique identity of the equipment used by a subscriber by each PLMN. 15 digit code. Used to determine Authorized (White List) Unauthorized (Black List) Malfunctioning (Grey List) Along with IMSI, it is used to ensure that only authorized users are granted access to the system. Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity(TMSI) TMSI is an identity which guarantees the integrity of the mobile subscribers on the radio interface. VLR assigns a TMSI to each mobile subscribers entering the VLR area.

MOBILE IDENTITIES
Mobile Station Roaming Number(MSRN) MSRN is allocated on temporary basis when MS roams into another numbering area. This number is used by the HLR for rerouting calls to the MS. It is assigned upon demand by the HLR on a per-call basis. MSRN is used in the GMSC to set up a connection to the visited MSC/VLR.
