Terminology:
STEM CELL- cell which can make exact copies of itself indefinitely, can differentiate, and produce specialized cells for various tissues of body. TOTIPOTENT- can become any kind of cell

MULTIPOTENT- limited range of cell types

Adult SC: nerve cells, blood cells, muscle cells, bone and skin cells.

symptoms. Private companies: Good for Research -fast and on time because of enough fund. Federal Government: Bad for Research -slow down the procedure because of insufficient fund.

PRO-LIFE PEOPLE
People who thinks that the destruction of blastocyst, laboratory- fertilized human egg, to be murder of human life.

Prolife people = Banning of Stem Cell Research

PRO-CHOICE PEOPLE
Utilitarianism- destruction of smaller group for the sake of a larger group is justifiable.
lead to significant information about the cause, new treatment possibilities, and potential cure for many diseases.

STEM CELL RESEARCH CONCLUSION

Understanding this issue before formulating an opinion is imperative. Further investigation should be done to become more knowledgeable of the issue, so you can strongly stand by your side, which aligns with your beliefs. Having known the pros and cons of stem cell research, our group believes that SCR provides hope for development of new cures for a wide range of diseases and injuries. We deliberately support stem cell research for the following reasons: hold potential cures for disease (diabetes, cancer, and hundreds of rare immune system and genetic disorders), can differentiate to various cell types in the body and offer possibility of a renewable source of replacement cells. We also regard this as the greatest potential for alleviation of human suffering now a days.
