Hand Washing is Important:
- prevent germs from entering our body - stop spreading the germs - free from dirty things that come from contaminated surfaces - assist the child in a safe and healthier life

Procedure:
remind the children for washing their hands
song with the children. For example, Wash,

wash, wash, wash your hands. show the picture of different steps of hand washing to the children line up the children near the bathroom. take one child at a time in the bathroom for hand washing

show the child how to wet hands with warm

running water. add some soap in the childs hand show the child how to rub all surfaces of the hands vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds including between the fingers and back of the hands show how to rinse the hands well under running water for 5 to 10 second

show the child how to wipe the hands well

with a paper towel show the child how to turn off the tap with a single-use towel dispose of the paper towel
