Objectives
With the developing technology today internet has

become the popular media in the way of communication between the people. Internet is now becoming the popular medium for advertisement. Here we can order the things by sitting at home. C-Channel Track is to computerize the cargo at online, which provide the infrastructure for implementing online booking and cancelling of cargo.

Existing System
Usually when a person wants to send a cargo then he

has to go to the office and book a cargo at least he spend half an hour. If he is in some emergency situation he will be put in trouble. There is no information by which route the goods have been sent.

Proposed System
To computerize the cargo and make it online, which

would provide the infrastructure for implementing Online booking and canceling of the cargo.
Time and cost saving to reach to people.

Time saving for persons of remote places for their product

search and also provides the convenience of searching for products anywhere at any point of time.

Project Modules

C- Channel has divided into seven modules.

1. Visitor Interface 2. User Interface 3. Administrator Interface 4. Credit Card Interface 5. Booking Module 6. Cancellation 7. Tracking

1. Visitor Interface : This page of the Cargo Management System application will be the first page to be displayed, when a person visits the Cargo Management System application. This page will display a welcome message to facilitate navigation through the application. The functionalities provided by the visitor interface is: About us Login New user registration Forgot Password

2. User Interface : The user home page is displayed to a

user, when the user logs on to the Cargo Management System application. Only registered users can view this home page. The functionalities provided by the user interface is:

Home Page Booking Generate Bill Tracking Cancellation Credit Card Validations Feedback Change Password Logout.

3.Administrator Interface : Administrator is the maintainer of the site. In this module staff will enter the moving ship details. Administrator interface category will have the following functionalities. They are: Add Vehicle details to Inventory. Modify Vehicle details Inventory. Delete Vehicle details from Inventory. Enter Vehicle Moving Information. Logout. Change Administrators Id and Password is placed cargo details.

4. Credit Card Interface : Through this interface, application will validate credit card. Cargo Management System application will allow three types of credit card. They are Visa Card, Master Card, and Amex card (American Express). Application will validate these cards in two levels.
1) Validate credit card at client side using LUHN

algorithm.
2) Check with Bank Database

5. Booking Module : A major role in booking is played by customer. Booking page displays a set of existing source and destination. According to this source and destination customer will get the ships details passing from this route. Customer can choose any one ship and place his cargo. When the customer books the ship we will give one date to the customer. In that date we will go and get the goods from customer. In this module customer has to give the details about the receiver. This information helps us to deliver the cargo.

6. Cancellation : This module will allow the customers to cancel their reservation.

7. Tracking: Assume that customer has placed his cargo in

ship. Now his goods are on the way and customer wants to know about where his goods are located. In this situation customer no need to go cargo office. This module helps the customer to know about his cargo.
