How to write an essay

Procedure
1. Using the chart on the following slide, create a writing for the following
topic How are languages learned
2. After you have written the title, write down the 3 reasons how you believe
languages are learned.
3. Below every reason, write down ideas and examples to support your
reason.
4. Once you have finished you are going to copy all the information you have
generated and paste it in a word document following this order:
i. First, copy and paste the title.
ii. Then, copy all the reasons (1,2 and 3) and create 1 paragraph, this will be your
introduction.
iii. Then, copy and paste reason number 1 and in this same paragraph, copy the box of
supporting ideas and the box of examples.
iv. The do the same for reason number 2.
v. And finally do the same for reason number 3.
5. Finally write a conclusion to all the text.

Why is knowing English important for
my Ph. D.
Because I can understand information
from American authors.
Many of the texts that are created
related to the field I study are written
by American authors. They create an
extensive amount of texts from
research they conduct
For example, there is a text by Paul M.
Healy, Jacob Cohen that provides
students with an overview of recent
developments in the setting of
accounting standards at a global level.
Because it is a requisite for my Ph. D.
Many universities have different
requisites you have to comply with if
you want to get a Ph. D. In our case, the
university is asking us to deliver a series
of documents to prove that we have
the capacity to hold a doctors degree.
For example, the university of veracruz
requires that you comply with the
following: 1) reading comprehension of
the English language, 2) that you have a
Maesters degree, etc
Because you sound better
In many presentations and conferences
around the world we have to be able to
present the information we have found
and English is a language that is used by
the majority of the important
conferencists of our time.
In the last forum, called international
forum for the public accountant,
proffessor Paul M. Healy gave a great
speech regarding the setting of
accounting standards.
