absolutely sure they are safe.

Cold Contact Burns
Causes:
Contact with Cryogenic liquid or cold gas
Sign Symptoms:
Affected part may swell and become
painful
Blisters may appear
Affected part appear waxy and yellow
General body temperature may reduce
Shock

Move the causality into warm room
Make the causality comfortable
Remove any clothing that may restrict
circulation to the frozen area
Immerse the affected part in warm water
Cover the part with sterile dressing and
large protective bulky covering.
Treatment for shock
If massive exposure ,immerse the whole
body in to warm water.

Never use dry heat or rub the
affected part .
Do not give any alcoholic drinks
or allow the casualty to smoke
Do not use any ointments
Do not rewarm rapidly

Prevention
Handle carefully
Always wear protective gloves
Wear eye goggles or face shield
Try to cover all exposed skin by
wearing long sleeves ,cuff less
pants, safety boots and gloves.
