Nutritional values of soybeans


Soybeans are very rich in nutritive components. Besides
the very high protein content, soybeans contains a lot of fibre and
are rich in calcium, magnesium . The soy protein has a high
biological value and contains all the essential amino acids.

Soybeans are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and low in


saturated fatty acids, which need to be avoided.

2.INGREDIENTS

300 gram soybeans


4 litre of water

Sugar, vanilla, salt


II.Prepairing Soy Beans

1.Clean the soybeans with


water.
2.Remove debris or damaged
soybeans.
3.Soak the soybeans overnight
in plenty of water.
4.Drain and rinse the
soybeans in a colander
III. How To Make Soy Milk

1.Grind the soybeans in a blender or food processor with just


enough water to cover them until it makes a slurry.

Steps 2: Pour the slurry into a pot on the stove and add some water.
Steps 3: Bring the slurry to a boil, stirring constantly.
Steps 4: Turn it down to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep stirring.

Filter the slurry through a cheesecloth, saving the liquid in a bowl. This
is the soy milk. Discard the ground up soybeans.

Add some sugar, some vanilla or little salt.
