Industry Analysis

B. Analysis of competitors
Porters Five Forces:
1. Threat of new entrants:
As population is on the rise and lots of people is
moving towards main stream learning, agricultural
education is somewhat non mainstream side of
education at this point in time. So any private
institution providing good education and giving
some sort of job guarantee in the sector will be
able to capitalize with good service and earning.
2. Rivalry among existing firms:
There are a few competitors in this agricultural
education industry. We can divide the competitors
in to two groups namely government own
institutions and private owned institutions. From
the number of competitors it is clear that there
exists a low level of competition among the
rivalries.
3. Bargaining power of Buyers:
There is little bargaining power of the buyers since
it favors the producers here. If people asking for
quality education than they will have to pay a bit
higher.
4. Bargaining power of Suppliers:
The bargaining power of the supplier in this
industry is not negligible. It is education which will
be provided by teachers. Specific scholar in this
sector is little. So finding good scholar with proper
motivation in this field is a challenge.
5. Threat of Substitute products or services:
Threats from substitute are this industry is little as
long agricultural education is concerned.
