E 7-9 Isolated correct sentences. Meaning clear
with SWEs.
U(i) 4-6 Errors throughout. Mostly SWEs, a few
MWEs. Slight blurring.
U(ii) 2-3 Dense errors (1/2 SWEs +1/2 MWEs). Make
some sense.
U(iii) 0-1 Little or no sense at all.

CONTINUOUS WRITING
1. Choose the topic that you are most familiar with.
2.Write out the main points.
You may brainstorm or use a mind map to list the
important point.
3. Divide your writing into three parts:
a)Introduction-Make it brief, for example, about a few
sentences or a short paragraph. It should contain a
definition or explanation of the topic you are writing.
b)Body This is the main part of your writing. It may
have 4 to 5 paragraph. Each paragraph contain one
main point with elaborations. The paragraphs are
logically linked with one another.
c)Conclusion Sum up your writing. What is the
message you want to convey? It consists of a few
lines or a short paragraph.
Write out your composition in a clear and logical
order.
