Education
Education is a method whereby one
acquires a higher grade of prejudices.
3
Studying expands knowledge, knowledge is power, power
corrupts, corruption is a crime, crime doesnt pay.
Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing;
prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are
wishing.
5
REPETITIVE REPETITION
Its not that Im so smart, its just that I stay with problems longer.
Albert Einstein
ake everything youve done in the semester. Notes,
homework, papers, etc. Now fit all of that onto one
page, front and back. Fill it with the information you
really need to know. This will inform how you study,
as well as help you look past the pointless details and
really get to the heart of the information. This
shouldnt be the only studying to do, but its a great
place to start, and a way to focus yourself.
6
Play Teacher
Find someone who knows
nothing about what youre
studying for. Then teach
them about it. In figuring
out how to make someone
else understand the
material, youll do wonders
for your own mastery. Itll
stick in your brain better, as
well as give you a clearer
view of the subject. Run
through all the critical
course material at warp
speed, and youll be
amazed how much you
learn from hearing yourself
talk.
By learning you will teach
By teaching you will understand.
7
DRAW
Draw pictures, or mind maps, or
diagrams, or graphs of the material.
The repetition associated with putting
it together, as well as the visual act,
will help you memorize and understand
material in a whole new way. It
engages the other side of your brain,
which is critical to really remembering
material. What you draw doesnt
matter- just let the artist come out.
You never outgrow drawing, Its so fundamental to
everything.

Headphone Osmosis
For anyone with an iPod, there
are a vast number of resources
out there to help you learn, from
Sparknotes to videos to
podcasts. There is a huge list of
things you can do with your iPod
to help you learn and study,
Where words fail , music speaks.

Pick a friend, and a topic for a class. Pick sides, and
have a debate with each other. This is great for
essays, papers, and any kind of test requiring you
to elaborate on one or a few points. Debating, even
a side you know is wrong, is an incredible useful
skill, and does wonders for your ability to reason
through information on a test.
If you can argue
both sides, you can
argue one side
much more
effectively.
Make a note of what you are reading.
Study by scribbling on a rough note.
Scribble formulas , important terms etc.
on that note . This will help to keep those
ideas in your mind . Use it for future
reference also.
Always solve numerical by writing . Never
read out the problems or make it by-heart.

11
When reviewing your notes before an exam,
the most important will be illegible.
12
Never Study continuously for many
hours .This could damage your
eyes , brain etc and make you a
worm.
Rest for some 10mins after a study
of 50mins.

Drink some water , go around and
chat with someone or read some
books.

Never Study
continuously
What is a Teaching Aid?

teaching aid is anything that can be used to help reinforce
new information or skills. It is helpful to consider the age
of your students and the subject you are teaching. You
must also consider your specific students. Do they need more
active involvement? Do they struggle with your subject?
Create teaching aids that build on your students' knowledge
and inspire them to learn more.
Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing;
prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are
wishing.

For older children, a lesson on creative writing might
begin with a famous picture or portrait. Use the
picture to stimulate the students' imagination. Have
each student make a list of words that the picture
brings to mind. Have students read their lists aloud.
Maybe even play three or four different pieces of
music while looking at the picture and have students
talk about which piece they think fits. Use their list of
words to create a poem or short story inspired by the
picture.
Children love memorization and recitation also. Record each
student reading a section of a poem or document such as the
Declaration of Independence. Have the students choose one
important word from their sections and create a picture of
that word. Listen to the recording and have each student hold
up their picture when it comes to their part. The recording,
the picture and the physical participation appeal to visual,
aural and kinesthetic learners. Listening to the recording a
few times will dramatically help all students to learn the piece
of writing.

For teaching basic math skills to young children, find interesting
things to count with which they are familiar, such as stamps,
marbles, feathers or cinnamon sticks. You can also use these items
to weigh, measure and group. Use a large piece of poster board to
document your findings. The tangible items help the children
connect more than one sense with the information, and the poster
board reinforces their findings and serves as a reminder of the
information.
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you
plant.

4. Education projector can help improve student
performance by encouraging greater classroom
participation to increase the retention of the
content being displayed. From video game style
role-playing and interactive simulations and digital
imaging-based presentations, to engaging Internet
excursions, students get so much more from the
curriculum when its experienced through the
brilliance and clarity of a DLP projector.
