Ecology is the scientific study of

environment.

Urban Ecology is the
study or analysis of
natural system that the
relationships between
human with social
complexes and urban
environment.
Ekosistem perkotaan adalah suatu ekosistem alami yang telah dimodifikasi oleh manusia
dengan berbagai cara, yang didalamnya terdapat interaksi timbal balik antara komunitas
makhluk hidup (tumbuhan, hewan, organisme mikroba) dengan hal-hal tak hidup, dengan
dukungan infrastruktur, konsumsi sumber daya, dan adanya daur ulang energi dan siklus
ekosistem yang berpengaruh terhadap lingkungan. Ekologi perkotaan dibentuk manusia
dengan pengaruh perilaku, kultur, politik, ekonomi dan social budaya yang ada.
Urban sprawl adalah sebuah kota yang
berkembang dalam pembangunannya
akibat cepatnya pertumbuhan penduduk
namun penyebaran tidak terkendali hingga
ke daerah pedesaan/ tetangga, padahal
tidak direncanakan dan menimbulkan
tingkat kepadatan yang tinggi serta
kemacetan yang tidak terkendali.
Urbanization is the process where an increasing population growth
& lives in cities caused by people migration from rural to city as a
result of global change.
All of the biotic and
abiotic factors that
act on an organism,
population, or
ecological community
and influence its
survival and
development. Biotic
factors include the
organisms
themselves, their
food, and their
interactions
Ecosystem is a community of
living and nonliving organisms
in their environment, viewed
as a system of
interrelationships.
Eco-city is a city designed with consideration of environmental
impact, inhabited by people dedicated to minimization of
required inputs of energy, water and food, and waste output of
heat, air pollution - CO

, methane, and water pollution
Green buildings are those
that are designed and
built in a way that have
minimal environmental
impact throughout the
entire building life-cycle.
