A SMILE
A SMILE costs nothing,
but gives much.
It enriches those who receive
without making poorer
those who give.
It takes but a moment, but the
memory of it sometimes lasts
forever. None is so rich or
mighty that he can get along
without it and none is so poor
that he can be made rich by it.
A SMILE creates

happiness in the home,

fosters goodwill in the

business, and is the

countersign of friendship.

It brings rest to the weary,

cheer to the discouraged,

sunshine to the sad,

and it is natures best

antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought,

begged, borrowed, or stolen

for its something that is of no

value to anyone until it is

given away.

Some people are too tired
to give you a SMILE.
Give them one of yours,
as one needs a smile
so much as he has
no more to give.
Lets always remember
Having a natural,

pleasant

and alert

facial expression!

Vince Lombardi
A LITTLE STORY
This is a story about four people named
EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY and
NOBODY.

There was an important job to be done and
EVERYBODY was sure that SOMEBODY would
do it.

ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it.

SOMEBODY got angry about that because it was
EVERYBODYs job.

EVERYBODY thought ANYBODY could do it.

It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed

SOMEBODY

when NOBODY did

what ANYBODY could have done.

Try not to become
a man of success
but rather try to become
a man of value.

Albert Einstein
An effective, productive employee is a well
integrated, fulfilled and empowered person.

He lives in harmony with other co-
employees in a spirit of universal
brotherhood.

He lives the rainbow life with commitment at
work.
What does God look like?
He looks like your husband.
He looks like your wife.
He looks like your son, who wants to borrow
the car.
He looks like your daughter, who wants
permission to go the party.
He looks like your father, whom you have
not seen for so long!
He looks like your friend.
He looks like the beggar, tapping on the
window of car.
He looks like your atchay, your chimay, who
spilled the coffee on you.

He looks like your houseboy, who wants an
advance on his salary.
He looks like your laborer, digging the ditch
in the street.
He looks like the one you love.

That is what He will say to you, when you
stand, all alone, before that great white
throne, to be judged. He will say:
So long as you have done it
to the least of these,
my little ones
you have done it to Me!

TEN COMMANDMENTS ON HOW
TO ENJ OY YOUR WORK
1. Dont get the idea that you are Atlas
carrying the world on your shoulders. The
world would go on even without you. So
dont take yourself all that seriously.
2. Tell yourself that you like your job, and
mean it. Then it will become a pleasure
without drudgery. Perhaps you do not need
to change jobs to get better one. Change
yourself and your job will become better.
3. Plan your work and work your plan. Lack of
system produces that swamped feeling.
4. Do not try to do everything at once.

TEN COMMANDMENTS ON HOW
TO ENJ OY YOUR WORK
5. Get a healthy mental attitude, remembering
that ease or difficulty in your job depends
on how you think about it.
Think its hard and you make it hard. Think
its easy and it will tend to become so.
6. Always become more job knowledgeable:
Knowledge is power. Its always easier to
do a thing right.
7. Learn to work relaxed. Easy always does it.
Do not press or restrain.
8. Discipline yourself not to put off until
tomorrow what you can do today.
Accumulations make job harder. Keep your
work plan to the schedule.
TEN COMMANDMENTS ON HOW
TO ENJ OY YOUR WORK
9. Every day thank God you have a job.

10. Think become expert in thinking. There
is always a better way to do a job. And
that better way to do the job is an easier
way.
THATS LIFE
By: Ephtarah Bethlehem
When you are nobody,
You are unnoticed.
When you begin to go up,
You win many friends.
When you go higher,
You win more enemies and less friends.
When you go even higher,
Your friends become your enemies.
And when you attain the highest
As the king of kings,
They will crown you with thorns
And they will crucify you.
So do not be surprised that you
Are now being crucified.
This proves that you
Are among "the highest.

Communication Process
MYTHS OF COMMUNICATION
1. We communicate only when we want to
communicate.
2. Words mean the same thing to both
speaker and listener.
3. We communicate chiefly with words.
4. We believe what a person says, not how
he or she says it.
5. Communication is a one-way flow of
information from the speaker to the
listener.

PROVIDING QUALITY SERVICE REQUIRES
YOU TO
COMMUNICATE CLEARLY

Clear communication occurs when MESSAGE SENT

Is the same as the MESSAGE RECEIVED.

But, being a successful sender is not always easy.

Being a successful receiver (listener) is even more
difficult.
The Seven C's of Communication
1. Credibility
2. Content
3. Context
4. Clarity
5. Continuity and consistency
6. Channels
7. Capability of audience
VERBAL COMMUNICATION
1. Keep it simple.

2. Explain and or provide an example.

3. Use clear, direct words.

4. Respect your listeners.

5. Repeat your main idea.

6. Check for understanding.
EFFECTIVE TEAM
COMMUNICATION
Dont keep your thoughts, ideas, feelings
and reactions to yourself.
Do let other team members know when you
like or approve of something they do.
Do let them know when you are unhappy
about something they say or do.
However, before agreeing or disagreeing,
check to make sure you understand what
other team members mean.
Encourage others to let you know how they
react to your behavior and actions in the
team.
