Key duties/responsibilities for administrative supervisor

Provide and oversee work direction supporting both clinics day-to-day operations
Supervise staff activities to ensure the needs of patients and providers are met
daily
Act as liaison between doctors and support staff; mediating issues and problems
as necessary
Direct involvement in the resolution of patient concerns and complaints
Collaborate and assist in the development of the Clinic Objectives
Act as a change agent for continuous improvement results
Maintaining and adhere to the Clinics budget
Ensure staff and patients' safety is maintained via regular education and training
of OSHA and CDC guidelines
Travel to alternate clinics as required
Perform administrative functions for the Clinic Director and Practice Manager
Act in a Human Resources capacity for both clinics as it relates to staff retention,
terminations, employee relations and more
Update and maintain clinic administrative needs as appropriate
Assist in doctor credential process as needed
Maintain clinic computer files (Word, Excel & Access) and Electronic Document
Storage system

Key job qualifications for administrative supervisor


1.Bachelor degree in Business, Healthcare Management or related field
2.Post graduate academic and clinical dental experience preferred
3.General knowledge of dental terminology and dental assisting practices
preferred
4.Three years experience in a multi-department supervisory role, overseeing
exempt and non-exempt staff, within a related field or healthcare
environment
5.Prior labor relations experience preferred
6.Prior experience in coaching and collaboration desired
7.Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communication and organizational
skills
8.Must have ability to interpret industry specific technical and legal
information; as well as labor contracts
