PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM

The purpose of the Public Address System is

primarily for evacuation.

Channel music can also be played.

The PA system which will consist of the

following components.

Public Address System

A public address or PA system is electronic

amplification system with a mixer, amplifier and
loudspeakers, used to reinforce a given sound.

e.g., a person making a speech, a BGM playing

prerecorded music, and distributing the sound
throughout a venue or building.

School public address system

School public address system

PA systems are often used in

small venues such as school
auditoriums. PA systems with a
larger number of speakers are
widely used in institutional to read
announcements or declare states
of emergency. Intercom systems,
which are often used in schools,
also have microphones in each
room so that the occupants can
reply to the central office.

Public Address System

The PA systems consist of a microphone, a

modestly-powered mixer-amplifier (which
incorporates a mixer and an amplifier in a single
cabinet) and one or more loudspeakers. PA
systems of this type, often providing 50 to 200
watts of power, are often used in small venues
such as school auditoriums, churches, and
Hotels. A sound source such as a CD player or
radio may be connected to a PA system so that
music can be played through the system.

Public Address System

Public address systems typically consist of input

sources, preamplifiers and/or signal routers,
amplifiers, control and monitoring equipment,
and loudspeakers. Input sources refer to the
microphones and CD Players that provide a
sound input for the system. These input sources
are fed into the preamplifiers and signal routers
that determine the zones to which the audio
signal is fed. The preamplified signals are then
passed into the amplifiers.

Public Address System

Depending on a country's regulations these

amplifiers will amplify the audio signals to
50V, 70V or 100V speaker line level.
Control equipment monitors the amplifiers
and speaker lines for faults before it
reaches the loudspeakers.

Horn Loudspeakers

Some PA systems have

speakers that cover an
entire campus of a
college or industrial site,
or an entire outdoor
complex.
Horn loudspeakers are
often used to broadcast
sound to outdoor
locations

LINE ARRAY SPEAKER

A line array speaker system and

subwoofer cabinets at
a live music concert.

For popular music concerts, a

more powerful and more
complicated PA System is used
to provide live sound
reproduction. In a concert
setting, there are typically two
complete PA systems: the "main"
system and the "monitor"
system. Each system consists of
microphones, a mixing board,
sound processing equipment,
amplifiers, and speakers.

LINE ARRAY SPEAKER

Line Array Speakers provide optimal coverage and

dispersion characteristics. Available in slim, towerconfigured enclosures, these speakers also feature a
wide range of mounting accessories to enable
permanent installation in various venues.

The speaker output therefore maintains a uniform

sound pressure level that resists attenuation with
distance. The speaker features a linear design tailored
for distance sound transmission application and the
features a gently curved line designed for a 10 degree
vertical coverage area which offers ideal sound
coverage over a shorter distance.

Micro based Public Address System

Micro based Controller

6-zone system controller

Built-in 240 W booster amplifier
6 EMG input contacts.
6 Business input contacts.

Micro based Controller

The call station, amplifiers and routers are connected to

the Controller.

When an input is received from the call station to the

controller, the signal is sent to the router.

On receiving the signal the router selects the respective

zone using a pre-programmed micro processor and the
corresponding amplifier turns on.

Micro based Controller

The controller can be used as a standalone system with

up to 6 zones, or expanded to up to 60 zones using
additional 6-zone routers.

The system controller features a built-in 240 W power

amplifier, making it possible to drive up to 40
loudspeaker with a power handling capacity of 6 W
each.

Up to 8 call stations can be connected.

Interconnections are made using standard RJ45

connectors and CAT-5 cable.

Micro based Controller

The powerful 240 W output section has six transformer

isolated 100 V constant voltage outputs for driving 100
V loudspeakers in six separates zones.

The 100 V-technique reduces line losses on longer

distances.

Up to 255 messages can be stored in the internal 16MB

flash ROM.

Messages and configurations are uploaded from a PC

via USB into the memory.

Micro based Controller

After which the unit operates without PC connection.

The standard WAV-format is used.

This gives up to 17 minutes of recording time with CDquality signal to noise ration.

The unit has 12 contact trigger inputs for business and

emergency.

Emergency Evacuation

Internet Protocol Public Address

The paging to multiple locations on a network by

deploying VoIP over the existing LAN/WAN and
transmitting audio signals as an MP3 data stream over
the Ethernet links.

Microphones and speakers are treated as elements in

the network and are linked semi-permanently by means
of the Internet Protocol (IP).

To connect the elements in the network, it can simply

be done using a mouse and a PC user interface.

Internet Protocol Public Address

The conventional PA systems that require a

coaxial cable wired to every speaker you want to
send voice to, IP Network voice transmission
helps eliminate a lot of cabling, which leads to
considerable reduction of installation cost. It
also helps us overcome the conventional
transmission distance limitation, enabling new
ways to use PA systems, which were never
possible before.

Long Line Public Address

Internet Protocol Public Address

Using VoIP, PA Paging System is a robust, fullfeatured system that allows users to simultaneously
push an audio stream and/or a text message to multiple
IP phones, IP speakers and overhead paging systems.

An administrator can also select a pre-recorded

message or deliver a live broadcast through either a
password-protected web page or the IP phone services
menu.

Internet Protocol Public Address

Real-time message broadcast to remote

stations.
You can broadcast voice messages from any location in
the network, not just from your specific broadcast
control center. This can be done using a very simple
interface provided over Internet Explorer. The
messages broadcast are automatically recorded and
stored in the logs for future review as well as rebroadcast of the same message.

Internet Protocol Public Address

Pre-recorded message broadcast to remote

stations.
With pre-recorded message broadcast facility, you can
have a choice to select and broadcast a message from a
variety of messages that were recorded before or
messages that were broadcasted previously. All these
can be done with just a few clicks on the system.

Internet Protocol Public Address

Easy access to Admin/User panel from any

computer via internet Explorer.
Any broadcasting of new messages is automatically
recorded and added to the list of pre-recorded
messages. In this way, the same message can be
broadcasted again whenever required.

Logs of every event

With automatic logging of every event, system integrators can
easily troubleshoot the system that was integrated to the PA
System.
