JULEP
Cocktail containing mint with charet (Bordeaux red wine) Madeira or
a bourlion whisky lease.
Eg : Mint Julep
Ingredients: 6-8 crushed ice cubes
1 tsp of Sugar syrup
3 measure Bourbon
Mint leaves
Facts:
Mint julep may be considered a member of a loosely associated
family of drinks called "smashes" (the brandy smash is another
example, as well as the mojito). Traditionally, mint juleps were often
served in silver or pewter cups, and held only by the bottom and top
edges of the cup. This allows frost to form on the outside of the cup.

SOURS
Sour is a traditional family of mixed drinks. Always made
fresh juice to sharpen the flavor of the drink.
Eg: Margarita and Sidecar
Facts and Ingredients:The margarita is a cocktail consisting of tequila, triple sec
(such as Cointreau) and lime or lemon juice, often served
with salt on the glass's rim. It is the most common tequilabased cocktail in the United States. The drink is served
shaken with ice (on the rocks), blended with ice (frozen
margarita), or without ice (straight up).

SWIZZLERS
Gets its name from the stick used to stir the drink , swizzling creates a
frost on the outside of the glass.
Eg: Queens Park Swizzle
Ingredients: 3 ounces rum
1/2 ounce simple syrup
6 to 8 mint
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Preparation:Add Ingredients and shell of the lime you just juiced into a tall glass.
Fill the glass with crushed ice and swizzle until the glass frosts over.
Garnish with a large spring of mint. Serve with a straw.

TODDIES
A hot toddy, also hot totty and hot tottie as well as hot
whiskey in Ireland, is typically a mixed drink made of liquor and water
with sugar and spices and served hot . Hot toddy recipes vary and are
traditionally drunk before going to bed, or in wet or cold weather.
Some believe the drink relieves the symptoms of the cold and flu
in How to Drink, Victoria Moore describes the drink as "the vitamin
C for health, the honey to soothe, the alcohol to numb
EG:-Scottish Toddy
Preparation:Traditional Scottish preparation of a hot toddy involves the mixture
of whisky, boiling water and sugar or honey. Additional ingredients
such as cloves, a lemon slice or cinnamon (in stick or ground form)
may be added

MIMOSA
A Mimosa is a cocktail-like drink composed of one
part champagne (or other sparkling wine) and one part thoroughly
chilled citrus fruit juice, usually orange juice unless otherwise
specified (e.g. "grapefruit [juice] mimosa"). It is traditionally served in
a tall champagne flute with a morning brunch as hair of the dog or to
guests at weddings.
Facts:In the US, the Mimosa is one of the two most popular alcoholic
beverages for brunch (the Bloody Mary is the other). Its a greattasting mix of OJ and bubbly that goes down smooth, with a flavor
that invites you to have a second. Maybe a third. Fortunately, the
orange juice dilutes the sparkling wine. So you can drink several
without getting blotto before youve had that last bite of toast.

APPLE MARTINI(APPLETINI)
An apple martini (appletini for short) a cocktail containing vodka and
one or more of apple juice, apple cider, apple liqueur, or apple brandy.
Optionally, vermouth may be included, as in a regular martini.
Typically, the apple vodka is shaken or stirred with a sweet and sour
mix and then strained into a cocktail glass.
VARIATION:In its purest form, it would contain:
10 ml ( oz) sweet vermouth10 ml ( oz) dry vermouth40 ml (1
oz) top shelf vodka (or gin)30 ml ( oz) apple juice or apple ciderA
common variation of the appletini is the "Rumpletini", with a
light rum in place of the vodka.
The appletini can also be made with "martini bianco" in a long drink
glass and filled with apple juice.

BELLINI
A Bellini cocktail is a mixture of Prosecco sparkling wine and peach
pure or nectar, originating in Venice, Italy.
Ingredients:One third of a glass of peach puree or juice,Two thirds of Chilled
champagne or sparkling wine.
Preparation:The Bellini consists of pured white peaches and Prosecco, an
Italian sparkling wine. Marinating fresh peaches in wine is an Italian
tradition. The original recipe was made with a bit of raspberry or
cherry juice to give the drink a pink glow. Due, in part, to the limited
availability of both white peaches and Prosecco, several variations
exist.
