PLANNING /ORGANIZATION

Plan time, cost and activities sufficient to estimate the work


needed and to effectively manage risks.

Set project organization.

Define and explain the scope of work of each group/individual.

Assign responsibility areas.

Determine resources (materials, eqpt.) needed.

Establish milestone targets/deliverables (activities, time, cost).

Set levels of performance.

Disseminate expected outputs.

Formulate project management tools / techniques.

DIRECTION / SUPERVISION

REPORTING

Review progress reports submitted by project participants.

Prepare weekly physical & financial accomplishment reports.

3.

Prepare weather reports.

4.

Prepare monthly employment report.

5.

Prepare Equipment Repairs & Maintenance.

Direct periodic project activities.

Prepare Consumption Report on Fuels & Lubricants.

Ensure logbooks are accomplished periodically.

Formulate other reports that might be needed.

Ensure that weekly progress reports are prepared and


submitted by all concerned.

Ensures schedules and performance levels (quantity and


quality) are met.

List construction deficiencies and blunders and indicate in the


logbook. List also t the recommended remedial action.

COORDINATION

Coordinate effectively with all project participants for smooth


project execution.

MONITORING & EVALUATION


CONTROL

Observe and monitor progress of work and disbursements.

2.

Evaluate the work, accomplished in the progress.

3.

Accomplish the punch list form, if necessary.

4.

Identify potential deficiencies in a timely manner and corrective


action can be taken, when necessary.

Conduct weekly coordination meetings.

Administer one-on-one meetings, as appropriate.

As necessary, engage in consultation meetings.

Subsequently check compliance to corrective/remedial


measures set.

Follow-up field notes/instructions and the like as indicated in the


logbook and ensure compliance to agree solutions.

Project performance is observed and measured regularly to


identify variances.

As appropriate, ensure letters to construction personnel and / or


sub-contractors if deficiencies are noted.

Check quality of materials and work.
