- gizi kurang, penyakit kronis, pemakaian steroid, usia tua atau bayi
memiliki keadaan imun yang kurang sehingga meningkatkan risiko
terjadinya infeksi dan sakit TB

- lingkungan yang lembab dan kurang menerima sinar
matahari lebih memungkinkan kuman TB untuk bertahan
hidup lebih lama
- linkungan yang tidak lembab, cukup sinar matahari, dan
pengudaraan yang memenuhi syarat sangat disarankan (
wajib untuk layanan kesehatan ) untuk mengurangi risiko
berkembangnya infeksi TB

- Pendidikan dan pengetahuan tentang TB bagi pasien dan
tenaga kesehatan yang terlibat dalam pelayanan TB sangat

FAKTOR KEBIJAKAN
- infeksi TB bisa terjadi di rumah sakit atau fasilitas
pelayanan kesehatan lain, dengan terjadinya penularan
dari pasien ke tenaga kesehatan atau yang lain.
- sistem pemisahan antara pasien infeksi dan non infeksi,
baik yang melalui transmisi kontak atau droplet wajib
diterapkan di layanan kesehatan terutama rumah sakit
untuk mengurangi risiko penularan
- mengurangi droplet dengan pemakaian masker pada
pasien, dan mengurangi inhalasi terhadap petugas dengan
masker N95, diharapkan mengurangi risiko penularan TB.
