INTRODUCTION:
This Procedure describes the minimum tests and checks to
be performed during the precommissioning stage of SEC Transmission projects. It
deals primarily with the precommissioning tests to be followed for protection schemes
and main equipment such as
cables, transformers and switchgear, etc., keeping in view
the SEC standard practices.
PURPOSE:
The main purpose of this Procedure is to present a list of
checks and tests to be performed on transmission
equipment. They shall be performed by the contractor and
witnessed by SEC Pre-commissioning personnel.
