LIST

Objective & Scope of Project

Basically our project is consist of two Parts:

i):

Designing Of a Trainer

(We are designing an Industrial Automation Trainer For BAHRIA UNIVERSITY).

ii):

Gas Booster Plant.

(Which is Implementation Of PID Controller and a practical use of our Trainer).

Objective & Scope of Project

i) Energy Monitoring.
Following Electrical Data Will Be Monitored Remotely.

Line to Line Voltages.

Line to Neutral Voltages.

Line Current.

Apparent, Active And Reactive power

Trend Of All Parameters.

Total Active Energy / Reactive Energy.

Power Factor.

Frequency.

Objective & Scope of Project

Remote Monitoring Of VFD.

Our HMI Program Will Be Able To Remotely Monitor The Important Parameters
Of VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE (VFD).

Remote Motor Controlling.

Our System will be able to Start/Stop Motors and save the History of Motors
that how many times our Motor stopped and what were the Reasons.

Objective & Scope of Project

4. P.I.D Application.
Our Main Application is to design a PID Controller Using PLC And
Control it Remotely Through HMI. For This Purpose, we are designing
a prototype of GAS BOOSTER Plant.
This Plant will Automatically Boost the pressure if and only if the
pressure of gas goes below than our required pressure. And when
the system meets the required pressure, the system will automatically
off. We will also interface this Plant to SCADA system to set the required
pressure remotely and for monitoring purpose.

We have Successfully completed seventy (70) % of our work and we

are hopeful to complete all of our work on 15th 20th April to take
part in Exhibition which is expected to be held on 26th April.
