Description

Establishment of a National Safety Management Center for Public Facilities in


Indonesia is a Grant Project funded by South Korea Government through KOICA (Korea
International Cooperation Agency) which the overall goal is to implement total safety
management of the public infrastructure in Indonesia, thereby ensuring the safety for
worker, public, property and environment.

Acceptance
Criteria

The life cycle cost of the public facilities(bridge and highways, railways, harbor) is
expected to decrease.
The safety of the citizens would be secured, and the probable collapse of the public
facilities can be prevented.

National policy on construction safety management


- National standard of construction safety system and technical standard for bridge,
dam and building
Design National Safety Management Centre
- Capacity building for government official, association and contractor/consultant
Procurement of Safety Inspection Equipment of the Pilot Project
