SITE VISIT
The purpose of this site visit is to get more
information about this subject.
Besides that, we want to learn the realize
condition compare than our theoretical in the
class.
Others than that, we want to know how the
management project at site, advantages and
disadvantages instruments of what they have
applied.
We also want to learn about functional and
method of structural.

SITE VISIT
more the purpose of this site visit is to
provide us with sound knowledge on how
the project management being handled
throughout the whole project.
The understanding of the project
management practice can be a good basis
for us in order for attaining perceptive of
project management in real life situation.
Furthermore, this site visit can assist the us
about knowledge for the preparation of our
future career.

METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
Conventional
Component of the building that is prefabricated on
site through the process of timber or plywood
formwork installation, steel reinforcement and cast
in-situ.
Conventional buildings are mostly built of reinforced
concrete frames. The traditional construction method
uses wooden formwork.
It is much more costly for construction which
includes labor, raw material, transportation and low
speed of construction time.

 Mostly use steel scaffolding, some

scaffolds use tubes made up of a
mixture of materials

FORMWORK
They are using Steel Formwork for
this construction.

 In this construction they use steel

truss because it more strong (light
weight truss) from others.

SITE & SOIL CONDITION

At past, this site is formerly used for

housing/quarters, before it being
demolish.
The soil is clay and they fill the soil
with the sandy soil at the surface.

MACHINERY

Not to much observed as we visit at

the finishing stage.
We saw some excavator, of backhoe
type at the site doing some site
cleaning and excavating land near
the building.
They also may have used some piling
machinery during installing spun pile

TEST

During early stage for this

construction they make a simple test
or test in-situ
Slump test -The slump test is a
means of assessing the consistency
of fresh concrete. It is used,
indirectly, as a means of checking
that the correct amount of water
has been added to the mix.

Cube Test

Concrete cubes test are made on site

to check that the strength of the
concrete is above the minimum
strength which has been specified.

CONCLUSION
From the site visit, we got;
exposed to the how technology are being using in construction
project at the site.
The fact about the project information, the party involves,
material used, site specification, machinery use, labors and
skills used.
understood about importance of safety and notes that should
be taken before entering to a construction site for the
accidents that may happen there.
learning about basic process of construction by observing a
real example of working space, plus observing and comparing
topics that taught by lecturers .
learnt many things by identifying different types of construction
materials and their uses, and also learning a lot about
construction process and methods that are used in Malaysia
