Ethics really has to do with all these levels- acting ethically as individuals,
creating ethical organizations and governments, and making our society as a
whole ethical in the way it treats everyone.
Why Identifying Ethical Standards is Hard:
These are to fundamental problems in identifying the ethical standards we
are to follow:
On what do we base are ethical standards?
How do these standards get applied to specific situation we face?
utilitarian approach
Rights Approach
Fairness or Justice Approach
Common Good Approach
Virtue Approach
specific approaches. We may not all agree to the same set of human and
civil rights.
The second problem is that the different approaches my not all answer the
question what is ethical? in the same way. Nonetheless, each approach
gives us important information with which to determine what is ethical in
particular circumstances
Conclusion
There are many unethical business practices prevailing in
the society but government is taking many remedial
measures to stop it .government laws and rules made
against it are useful for society as well as for business.
And we all should have great awareness of these laws then
we can make efforts to stop these unethical practices and
can make the guilty person punished.
