What initiated contemporary art?

In 1910, Roger Fry established a society known as

contemporary art society in London. They aimed

to exhibit works of contemporary art so that they
can be bought by the admirers. With time and
basically after World War II artists felt the dire

much more different that the conventional norms.
They depicted destruction and the prevailing
circumstances in which people lived. Thus,

Abstract Expressionism. This was the first American
