access for a Bill to ID

Cisco Account
profiles can be
utilized to obtain
Cisco services

the individual
will be able to
use all the

that Bill to ID to
obtain support

When a new
service Contract
is purchased
under the
enabled Bill to ID
in the
individuals Cisco
Account profile,
it is
automatically
available to
obtain support

Primary users:
companies who
purchased their
contracts
directly from
Cisco and want
automatic
association for
their technical
team when new
contracts are
purchased

Administrators can perform the following actions: ADD, REMOVE, ENABLE,


DELETE
ADD BID
Add Bill to IDs to Cisco.com
profiles for access to certain
tools (order status, licensing,
etc.) but individuals cannot
obtain Cisco services

REMOVE ACCESS
Remove support access for Bill
to IDs (individuals cannot
obtain Cisco services)

ENABLE ACCESS
Enable Bill to IDs for support
access (individuals can obtain
Cisco services)

DELETE BID
Delete Bill to IDs from
Cisco.com profiles

Administrators can perform the following actions: BLOCK, UNBLOCK, LOCK,


UNLOCK
BLOCK BID
Block Bill to IDs in a Cisco.com
profile (a specific individual
cannot have them added to his
profile)

LOCK BID
Lock Bill to IDs so that only an
Administrator who manages
BIDS can add them to a
Cisco.com profile

UNBLOCK BID
Unblock Bill to IDs in a
Cisco.com profile (an unblocked
individual can now have the
BIDs added to his Cisco.com
profile)

UNLOCK BID
Unlock Bill to IDs so that Cisco
can add them to Cisco.com
profiles

Bill to ID - Administration

The Administration
screen allows you to:
Obtain Reports
Open Profile Manager in order
for the Administrator to
perform/request updates to his
profile
Inform Cisco about individuals
who have left the company
Inform Cisco about individuals
who are obtaining support and
may not be authorized
Register a new individual to
obtain a Cisco.com ID

Bill to ID Other Tool Functions


If an individual attempts to request a blocked or locked Bill to
ID be added to his Cisco.com profile using the Cisco.com
Profile Manager, a message will be displayed directing him to
the Administrator(s) for that Bill to ID.
An email will automatically be sent: 1) to the
Administrator with the individuals information, and 2) to
the individual with the Administrators information. The
request will not be sent to Cisco.

If Cisco attempts to add a blocked or locked Bill to ID to a


Cisco.com profile using Ciscos internal tools, a message
will be displayed indicating the Bill to ID cannot be added.
An email will automatically be sent: 1) to the
Administrator with the individuals information, and 2) to
the individual with the Administrators information.

If Cisco adds a Bill to ID to a Cisco.com profile, all


Administrators will be informed via email (you can request not
to receive this email).
