Reproductive System
Main Map
Male Reproductive
System
 The main organs of
male reproductive
system are :
 Testes
 Reproduction
Duct
 Addition Gland
 Penis
Testes

 Testes are male

reproductive organs which
produce sperm cell
 Testes are divided to :
 Seminiferous

tubules, the place of

spermatogenesis
 Laydig cell, produces

man hormone
(testosterone)
 Tunica albuginea,
testes coated layer
Reproduction Duct
 Reproduction duct has a function to hold
sperm for a while and send them to the
sperm releasing tubules when copulation
happens.
 Reproduction duct is divided to :
 Recti tubules, as the tubulus
semiferus’ estuary and have function
to send sperm to eferensia tubules
 Eferensia tubules, collect the sperm
and send it to epididymis tubule
 Epididymis tubules, sperm maturation
process and stored place
 Vasa diferentia, used to send sperm
to urethra
Addition Gland
Addition gland of male include :

 Semen Sac (seminalis

vesicle), used to collect
semen as the nutrient of
sperm
 Prostate gland, used to
produce alkali milk-like fluid
that protect the sperm from
acidity of woman
reproduction canal
 Cowper’s gland
(bulbourethral vesicle),
Female Reproductive
Organ
 The main organs of
female reproductive
system are :
 Ovary
 Uterine Tube
(oviduct or
Fallopian tube)
 Uterus
 Vagina
Ovary

Estrogen

The process called Progesterone OVARIES

ovum will leave ovary by the process called

Uterus
 Uterusis the organ where
embryo grows and
develops to be a fetus
that ready to born
 Uterus is composed of 3
layers :
 Cerose (outer)

(middle)
 Endometrium (inner)
Menstruation
4 Stage of Menstruation Cycle

 Menstruation (day 1-7),

releasing uterus because
of decreasing sex hormone
concentration in the body
 Postmenstrual (day 7-13),
time when ovum is
produced and matured
 Ovulation (day 14), time
when ovum is released
 Premenstrual (day 15-28),
time when deterioration of
ovum if fertilization doesn’t
