Introduction: Unit Summary

IS-U/CCS is integrated with the standard SAP system,

and enables you to use standard components such as
Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, and Sales
and Distribution.
IS-U/CCS Device Management includes device
technology, device installation, meter reading as well as
the inspection and certification of devices.
The business scenario includes all IMG activities
needed for mapping the technology, procurement,
movement, installation and certification of devices.

The business scenario forms the basis for the practical

exercises that course participants will work through
later on in the course. The entire business process is
shown, with examples ranging from the definition of
device types and goods receipt through to installation
and certification.
