It refers to the shaking of the earth as a result of
the breaking or shifting of the rocks of the tectonic
plates, which release seismic energy.

crustthatcreatesseismicwaves.

referstothefrequency,typeandsizeofearthquakes
experiencedoveraperiodoftime.

Are cracks on the earths crust of which there are three types normal fault, reverse fault, and strike-slip fault .
