 Data Destruction
NAID, the National Association for Information Destruction, a trade association providing
the standards and ethics for the information destruction industry. Members of NAID are
certified to these standards and routinely audited for compliance.

NIST 800-88 is a resource for businesses and consumers providing them with guidelines
which clearly identify methods for safe data eradication (old DOD standard).

Tools
Hammer™ - hard disk drive erasure tool. Securely erases all data written to PATA, ATA
and SCSI drives. Meets NIST 800-88 ‘purge and clear’ specifications while still
allowing the redeployment of the drives.

Degausser- demagnetizes the hard drive; renders it useless

Physical hard drive destruction- destroys hard drive by breaking the platters
