Laws

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7920 is an act providing for a more responsive and
comprehensive regulation for the practice, l censing,, and registration of
electrical engineer and electricians.
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7832 is an act penalizing the pilferage electricity and
theft of power transmission lines/materials rationalizing system by phasing
out pilferage as a component thereof, and for other purposes.
Faraday Basics law of induction is one of the important concepts of
electricity. It looks at the way changing fields can cause current to flow in
wires.
Current Law The electric current in amperes that flows into any junction in
an electric circuit is equal to the current which flows out.
Lenz's law The motion of the magnet in either direction causes a change in
strength of the magnetic field linked with the coil and this causes a current to
be induced in the coil.

Lorentz Law whenever there is a change in the magnetic flux passing

through a closed circuit, an electric current is induced in the circuit.
Lorentz's law is defined as a combination of electric and magnetic
force that acts on moving charged particles in an electromagnetic
field.
Thevenins Theorem states that it is possible to simplify any linear
circuit, no matter how complex, to an equivalent circuit with just a
single voltage source and series resistance connected to a load.
Nortons Theorem states that it is possible to simplify any linear
circuit, no matter how complex, to an equivalent circuit with just a
single current source and parallel resistance connected to a load.
Ohms Law is the collisions between electrons and atoms in a
conductor causeresistance to the flow of charge.
Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (or Kirchhoff's Loop Rule) is a result of the
electrostatic field being conservative. It states that the total voltage
around a closed loop must be zero. If this were not the case, then
when we travel around a closed loop, the voltages would be
indefinite.

Theoretical Framework
The researchers believed that magnets can be used as an
alternative power source for a flashlight (To be exchanged from a
battery). Magnets are already used as a power source. The
researcher wants to use it in another experiment that will help the
society in smallest way she can. This experiment was conducted
because the researcher was curious about how magnets can be used
and how it can benefit people. As magnets are not commonly
known for being a power source, she also wants the readers to have
the knowledge about it. The researcher believes that her research
will work because she has researched and studied about this
experiment for a long time. And trust the facts that she has read and
studied for her experiment to be successful.

Self-Powering Flashlight

Relevance of the Study

The review focuses on the benefits of electromagnetism to
our society, economy, and daily lives. Electromagnetism focuses
or relates to magnets having the ability to convert kinetic
energy to electricity. As we know, we are having crisis or
problems with our energy resources, for we our using too much
of it and saving few. By this, the researchers want to investigate
and research on how we can use Electromagnetism, particularly
magnets to make or convert into energy.

Statement of The Problem

1. What is the significant effect of magnets to the electricity, it can
produce in terms of mass?
a.)100 grams
b.) 150 grams
c.) 200 grams
2. What is the significant difference of batteries and magnets to
the
electricity, it can produce in terms of mass?
a.)100 grams
b.) 150 grams
c.) 200 grams
3. What is the significance effect of magnets in terms of time?
a.) 1 hour
b.) 2 hours
c.) 3 hours
4. What is the significance difference of magnets and batteries in
terms of time?
a.) 1 hour

c.) 3 hours
5,) What king of magnet would mostly be effective for this
research?

Significance of the Study

The study would benefit a lot of people in the society, not
only will they help them but they will also help the community
to spread the word and help others. The study sees farmers,
children, parents, brown-out victims and indigenous people or
those living in the woods are the possible beneficiaries of the
study. The researcher thought they would need this because
these people are the ones who usually need emergency lights
or just lights. Farmers need it on their farm, children need it for
emergencies, brown-out victims and indigenous people need it
for source of light.

Scope and Limitations

This study was conducted to know the capacity of magnets in
terms of using it as an electrical source. The study used magnets as a
power source in a flashlight to light our homes. There are limitations
that this project cannot do. The researcher is not sure of how long the
flashlight will light and how long the source of energy can power it
(magnet). Some materials in the project are also not common and not
daily used by people at home. Also the research cannot be just made
by children and unknowledgeable people, because its about
electricity and might be dangerous for some.
