The Project
The ILSI Agrochemicals Task Force created a
working group named POF to develop the
project that aims the extraction of individual
food consumption data released by the IBGE
in household budgets research referring to
2008-2009.
The POF 2008/2009 brings the Personal
Food Consumption Analysis in Brazil ,
where it was possible to obtain, for the first
time, information on actual individual
consumption of food, inside and outside the
home, by Brazilians (10 years old)

Objectives
This project aims to compile
data from the household
budget survey of 2008-2009,
published by the IBGE, for
the
average
food
consumption
of
the
population.

Specific Objectives
Break down the prepared
mentioned in IBGE survey,
percentage of ingredients;

food,
as a

Match processed foods to their fresh


food ;
Establish assumptions to be considered
case by case;
Consolidate the recipes ingredients into
the consumption table.
Match the data to assess the
consumption profile of each food, by
regions.
