Pengertian
Model Shared/ Terbagi

Model shared adalah pembagian perencanaan dan pengajaran


yang berlangsung dalam dua ilmu, dimana konsep perluasan atau
ide-ide muncul sebagai elemen pengatur. Model ini jika dilihat
seperti dua ilmu yang membagi konsep perluasan, tingkah laku,
dan skiil, adaptasi Fogarty (1991) ModelSharedDalamdisiplin

What Does it Look Like?


This is what the Venn diagram represents similarities in the
overlapped section. To use the shared view of curricular
integration, the teacher needs to explore two disciplines for
mutual concepts, skills, and/or attitudes as well as for actual
content overlaps.

What Does It Sound Like?


Teachers ask each other questions such as: "What concepts
do these units share?", "Are we teaching similar skills?", and
"Do the two units have commonalities in terms of concepts
and ideas?

What Are The Advantages?


Advantages of this model of shared curriculum planning rest in the ease of using
this as an early step toward more fully integrated models encompassing the four
major disciplines. By coupling similar disciplines, the overlaps facilitate deep
learning of concepts for transfer. Simply put, It's easier to schedule common
planning periods for a two teacher team than it is to juggle the scheduling for a
four teacher team. In addition, planning often leads to shared instructional
experiences such as a film or field trip, because the two teachers can put their two
periods together to create a larger time block.

What Are The Disadvantages?


A barrier to shared curricula is the planning time needed to
develop the models. In addition to the time, flexibility and
compromise are essential ingredients for successful
implementation it requires both trust and teamwork. This model of
integration across two disciplines requires commitment from the
partners to work through the initial phases. To find real overlaps in
curricular concepts requires in depth dialogue and conversation.

Membutuhkan waktu yang banyak;


Harus ada kepercayaan dalam tim;
Harus adanya komitmen antar tim dalam pembahasan awal; dan
Dibutuhkan diskusi untuk menemukan tumpang tindih kurikulum.

When Is This Shared Model Useful?


The shared curricula model is appropriate when subject matters
are clustered into broad bands such as the Humanities or
Practical Arts. Also this model facilitates early stages of
implementation toward integrated curricula. It is a viable model
to use with two disciplines as an intermediary step to the four
discipline teams which are much more complicated and complex.
