SCIENCE

Science

Science is a systematic enterprise that

builds and organizesknowledgein the
form of
testableexplanationsandpredictionsab
out theuniverse. In an older and closely
related meaning.
Science" refers to the body of reliable
knowledge itself, of the type that can be
logically andrationally explained.

Science and World

Fragmented view of world

PsychologistCarl Jung believed that though science
attempted to understand all of nature, the experimental
method imposed artificial and conditional questions that
evoke equally artificial answers. Jung encouraged, instead
of these 'artificial' methods, empirically testing the world in
aholistic manner.David Parkin compared
theepistemologicalstance of science to that of divination.

In a similar vein, Sixel saw the scientific viewpoint as

limited in scope without being conscious of its own
limitations, so that science could be correct (within its
framework) and yet not true (because it failed to take into
account larger contexts).

TECHNOLOGIES IN
WORLD
There are several technologies in the
world in different areas of work. Here are
some of these-:

Future tech
Nanotechnology
Nuclear fusion
Particle physics
A common thing
that we can note is these best
technologies of the world are due to
science. Without science they would
not even have invented and we then
would still be using old things to do
our work.

Uses of Science

Uses of Science

Science has many uses, like the house in

which you live is kind of made with
science, you are living in many ways
because of science. Your grandparents
which are living because of medicines and
all other hospital facilities. If science
wasn't there human population wouldn't
cross a ten million. Science is the most
important thing in the life, it's everywhere
one can't dream of living without it.

Science in war

Science and War

It has become almost a clich to note that we live in an increasingly

complex and interdependent society. But this point is crucially
important as we consider the future of war. Our cities once were
fortresses, the walled sanctums where our ancestors sought refuge
from marauders. The firebombing of the Second World War revealed
a new urban vulnerability, but even that insecurity is nothing by
todays standards. We live in giant cities, supplied with piped water
and electricity, with trains in tunnels and cars on elevated
roadways, with fiber optics under the pavement and air-conditioning
plants for buildings with windows that cannot be opened. Our new
urban centers have the vulnerability to terrorism and attack built
right into them. Any modern city can be held hostage by a single
Unabomber, brought to a halt by nineteen fanatical men, or
devastated by any small raiding party drawing on modern scientific
knowledge, from malicious computer programming to radioactive
dirty bombs to infectious bacteriology

Role of science in world

Role of science in world

There have been many tremendous advances in

technology over the last decade, so many in fact,
the pace is accelerating. Everyday new things are
discovered with our ever-increasing scientific
knowledge. Cancer research has found a virus
capable of killing cancerous tumours in rats.
Although this has not been sufficiently tested for
use on people yet, scientists predict that testing
on human volunteers may come into effect in
around two years. There has also been the evercontroversial breakthroughs in the cloning of
sheep and mice, which can have a great impact
on the future.
Technology has also brought us closer together.
The introduction of the mobile/cell phone has

Why science matters?

Why science matters?

Science is everywhere, and understanding how

it's a part of our daily lives can help give kids a
great foundation for success in life.
Children are naturally curious. Science
education feeds that curiosity and provides
students with valuable concepts, life skills, and
career options. Science helps give kids a
greater appreciation for the world and its
inhabitants, a healthy dose of skepticism,
strong problem-solving skills, and research
know-how.

A better education in science also mean

better things for society by helping students
develop into more responsible citizens who
help to build a strong economy, contribute
to a healthier environment, and bring about
a brighter future for everyone.
Understanding the role that national, state,
and local standards play can help you to find
out if your child is receiving the high-quality
science education that all students deserve.

From all above ,it is crystal clear that world is

dependent upon science and the technology
given by it.

Without it ,world is incomplete and its

progress cant continue.
So lets create our own
