PROCESS
WINDOW AC- IT IS THE SIMPLEST FORM OF THE AIR

COOLING UNIT
IT CONSIST OF A COMPRESSOR AND A FAN/BLOWER UNIT .
THE COMPRESSOR WORKS ON THECOMPRESSION AND
EXPANTION PROCESS OF GAS , WHICH COOLS THE GAS .
COOL GAS THROUGH THE PIPES REACHES TO THE BLOWER
WHICH BLOWS THE COOL AIR .
THIS IS THE BASIC OF ANY AIR COOLING UNIT

SPLIT AC THE PROCESS OF SPLIT AC IS SAME AS OF

WINDOW AC . ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE COMPRESSOR UNIT

IS SEPERATED FROM BLOWER

CAPACITY
WINDOW AC STARTING FROM .75 TONS , 1,1.5 ,2 ,2.5
TONS

SPLIT AC - STARTING FROM 1 TONS,1.5 ,2 ,2.5 TONS

DUCTABLE SPLITS STARTING FROM 5.5 TONS TO 20 TN

PAKAGES THESE ARE EVEN BIGGER UNITS FROM

DUCTABLE SPLITS TILL 50 TONS

CHILLERS THESE ARE THE BIGGEST OF ALL

AIR HANDLING UNIT

An air handler, or air handling unit and often
abbreviated to AHU, is a device used to condition
and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and
air-conditioning (HVAC) system. Usually, an air
handler is a large metal box containing a BLOWER,
heating and/or cooling elements, FILTER racks or
chambers and sound controllers. Air handlers
usually connect to duct that distributes the
conditioned air through the building, and returns it
to the AHU. Sometimes AHU discharge (supply) and
admit (return) air directly to and from the space
served, without ductwork

Small air handlers, for local use, are called

terminal units, and may only include an air filter,
coil, and blower; these simple terminal units are
called blower coils or fan coil units. A larger air
handler that conditions 100% outside air, and no
recirculated air, is known as a makeup air unit
(MAU). An air handler designed for outdoor use,
typically on roofs, is known as a rooftop unit
(RTU).

WATER CHILLERS

high performing chillers are used

to remove heat from a liquid.
These are effective in chilling the
water and can also be used for
other fluids such as thin oils.
These chillers are used in
commercial, industrial and
institutional facilities and are
weather resistant. These chillers
are highly efficient and find a
wide usage in:
Air conditioning systems for
transfer of sensible and latent
heat resulting in cooling of the air
stream.

Large commercial air handling units contain coils

that circulate hot water or steam for heating, and
chilled water for cooling. The hot water or steam is
provided by a central boiler, and the chilled water is
provided by a central chiller
