Introduction

Bursa Malaysia is an exchange holding company approved under Section 15 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.

Function -> operates a fully integrated exchange


-> offering the complete range of exchange-related services
-> including trading
-> clearing
-> settlement and depository services

We choose three companies as our assignment tools.

Stock Price ~ defined as the cost of purchasing a security on an exchange


~ be affected by a number of things including volatility in the market current economic conditions and popularity
of the company
~ low prices offered are a good deal for the investor
Mean ~ known as the average
~ found by adding up all of the given data and dividing by the number of data entries
Variance ~ measures how far a set of numbers is spread out
~ always non-negative: a small variance indicates that the data points tend to be very close to the mean and hence to each
other, while a high variance indicates that the data points are very spread out around the mean and from each other
Standard deviation ~ measure that is used to quantify the amount of variation or dispersion of a set of data values

Titijaya history was began by our Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato Lim Soon Peng in 1997.
Early development projects double-storey terrace houses and three-storey shop offices Taman Bukit Cheras, Kuala
Lumpur and double-storey terrace houses, residential lots and low-cost apartments in Klang.
Won Highly Commended Office Development Malaysia Award in 2011, Silver Award for the Residential Interior Category
of the MSID Interior Design Awards in 2008 and also awarded the Best Mixed Use Development in 2010.

HISTORY OF AXIATA GROUP BERHAD
Asian company that invests in the Telecommunication sector and has controlling stake in telecom companies
in Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Cambodia and significant strategic stakes in India,
Pakistan, Iran, Thailand and Singapore.
The company focuses on servicing high growth low penetration markets which are emerging.
In their media release in 2012, it was announced that Axiata had over 200 million subscriber across Asia and
a Group revenue of RM16.4 billion in 2011.
It was also reported that the company provided employment to 20,000 people in 10 countries.

The Group's mobile subsidiaries and associates operate under the following brands Celcom in Malaysia, XL in
Indonesia, Dialog in Sri Lanka, Robi in Bangladesh, Smart in Cambodia, Idea in India and M1in Singapore.

Joel Kornreich is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad.Alliance Financial Group started in 1958.
In 1975, the name of the Bank was changed to Banque de LIndochineet de Suez (Banque Indosuez).
Banque Indosuez acquired a building in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur, to serve as its headquarters.

ANALYSIS
~>TITIJAYA LAND BERHAD
Titijaya Land Vs FBMKLCI, at the beginning, 3 February 2015, the price stockis decreasing and this make demand
for the stock is higher at the lower price because of that, people will not sell their stock at the lower price.
In 2 September 2015, the flow change, when the price of the stock increase and this make people not to invest
due to the increasing of price.
The FBMKLCI line graph has fluctuated over 1 year and the price stock line graph face rise and decline situation.
~> AXIATA GROUP BERHAD
Axiata Vs FBMKLCI, in 3 January 2015, the price stock decreased and the FBMKLCI increased.
This show that many people willing to invest when the price of the stock decrease compare to 3 September 2015
which the price stock increase but the FBMKLCI decrease.At the higher price, people not willing to invest more.
~> ALLIANCE FINANCIAL GROUP BERHAD
On 3 May 2015, the price stock decreased and the FBMKLCI automatically increase.
When the price of the stock decreased, investors will buy the stocks or shares as many as they want because they
just need to wait to sell the stock until the price of the stock increase.
~>The mean for Titijaya Land is -0.20% and the standard deviationis0.621353.
~> For Alliance, the mean is -0.43% and the standard deviationis 0.838321.
~> The mean for the company Axiata is -0.34% and the standard deviation is 1.250311.
~> The most efficient mean in return and standard deviation is Titijaya Land which get the highest
return.
*We can conclude that Titijaya Land has the highest mean inreturn which (-0.20% ) compare to the
Axiata and Alliance which has the mean in return( -0.34% ) and ( -0.43%).

CONCLUSION& RECOMMENDATION
If the company has the higher mean in returns it means that the company is in
a good stated compare to the company that has the lowest mean.
If the mean higher, its means that the returns also higher, and others
company dare to take a risk to invest.
When we invest in the company which have higher mean, then it will give
higher return and will bring profit to the investor.
This is because the company have a good performance so that we will get the
higher return from this company compare to the Axiata and Alliance.
So that, when buying a stock price, better we buy the stock from Titijaya Land
compared to Axiata and Alliance.
So we recommend Titijaya Land as the best place to invest.
