PARTS OF PROPOSALS

Summary or overview

- a paragraph that compressed all together important data


as detailed in the entire proposal.
Introduction
-background of the organization that offers services
or your organization and not the sponsor or the problem to be
solved.
Problem Statement
-the problem in the organization which you are proposing
to solve.
Objectives
-basically the objectives would answer the question what
good thing will come up if the proposed project is accepted?

Plan implementation

-plain way of explaining the nature of the plan of


implementation as one of the important inclusions of the
proposal.
Evaluation
-quality control; it tells whether your desired objectives are
achieved.
Budget
-there must be specific estimate of all materials.

Qualifications of personnel

-attach resumes of the important figure who will work on


the project
Facilities
-needed to pursue the quality of your output.

Display
-conveys meaning to the evaluators.

PARTS OF A RESEARCH PROPOSAL

Identification of the problem

Stating the problem of your research

- the researcher is allowed to review any writing related to


the present research.
Review of related studies
- the researcher confines himself to the actual studies or
researches conducted in the past.
Conceptual framework
-the pieces of related literature and a number of related
studies you have reviewed shall be your foundation in
formulating a theory.

Hypothesis

-a theory to be tested, and it is written in declarative


sentence. Slide 20
Definition of Terms
-defined to be understood by all the readers.

Method of research

-explain the research method you will use. To do this you


need to make a short reading about the different methods of
research.
Sources of Data
-There are two kinds of data: primary and secondary.

-representative of the entire population.

Generally, this proposed study will try to verify the attitude of


the mechanical engineering students toward the plan of
making it a five year program.

Specifically, this proposed study will answer the following


questions:

1. Are the mechanical engineering students favorable to the


plan of making the program five years?
2. Is there a significant difference between the attitude of
the mechanical engineering students of School A and school B?
3. What the mechanical engineering students want to
recommend improving program?
