1. Describe the general setting for developing a
particular product or service.

2. Introduce the main problem(s) that managers
face in developing that product or service.

3. State the implications or consequence of the
problem(s) remaining unresolved.

1. Describe the general setting for
developing a particular product
or service.

Both the increasing popularity of credit card use and
growing number of Internet-based promotional activities
in Taiwan has enabled banking institutions to acquire
extensive customer data. In addition to helping banking
institutions to execute customer management and
service management efficiently, thoroughly analyzing
such data can optimize marketing management
practices. Corporate survival in the future hinges on the
ability to know and treat customers well through analysis
of pertinent data.

Infarction strokes may occur at any moment in the
human life cycle and cause of morbidity and death in
middle age and later life. The clinical diagnosis and
treatment of stroke, as well as investigations into the
underlying pathophysiology of the disease, hinge on
inferences from the anatomy of the stroke lesion.
Treatment has been directed towards both
reestablishment of flow after occlusion and an increase
in tissue tolerance to ischemia. MRI affords approximate
estimates of stroke topography and size with respect to
numerous aspects. Coordinated diffusion and perfusion
studies go even further to provide a view of the evolution
of stroke contour in relation to a perimeter of relative
hypoperfusion.

Cancer has been the leading cause of
mortality in Taiwan since 1982. Surgery,
radiotherapy and chemical therapy are
three conventional means of treating
cancer. Among those, radiotherapy is the
most effective approach to using radiation
for successful resolution

2. Introduce the main problem(s)
that managers face in developing
that product or service.

However, differentiated marketing practices in
Taiwan are insufficient, with conventional
methods of ranking customers normally based
on the bank account balance for each
accounting period. This basis alone does not
provide a complete customer profile, and seldom
incorporates strategies that analyze the
commercial transaction data of customers.
Insufficient information of unique customer
characteristics can obviously not provide
specialized services for individuals.

Although quantitative uses at present are
limited, MRI is also appropriate for
volumetric study of stroke and the brain
damaged by a stroke.

Owing to their inability to estimate precisely the
dose required for cancer patients, conventional
radiotherapy methods normally underestimate or
overestimate the actual treatment dose.
Therefore, how to evaluate the proper and
correct dose exactly and efficiently is of priority
concern in radiotherapy. For instance,
conventional dose measurement methods
depend on thermoluminescence dosimeter
(TLD), which is inefficient owing to it requires six
to eight hours to reuse.
