RESULTS

RESEARCH RESULTS

Total number of samples are 46 patients with Diabetes

Mellitus type 2 whose knowledge level are good = 57%, less
= 43%.

Patients who have good level knowledge is 39,1% have no

diabetic foot ulcer. Patients who have low level knowledge
is 10,9%.

By using Fisher test < (0,05), the result is 0,007. These

results indicate that there is correlation between
knowledge level about the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer
with the incidences of diabetic foot ulcer in Rumah sakit
DR. Saiful Anwar Malang

CONCLUSION
Patients education about the treatment of diabetic foot
ulcer is important. As a nurse, as an educator, we have to
educate patients and patients family so it will not lead to
diabetic progression which lead to complications, especially
diabetic foot ulcer.
