3. Competition Venues: Medical Stations for

Provide medical services for those with an AD
card,including athletes,officials,and staff
Services will be provided between 1 hour prior
to the commencement of the Games and an
hour after the competition is complete or until
the last player leaves the venue
Medical Statios: close to FOP and ambulance
accessible. Medical services are differentiated
according to the level of risk

Insurance for Team Medical Personnel

related medical personnel must be
liable for their medical practice
- insurance offered by IAGOC does
not cover and compensate medical
accidents occurred by team doctors
- delegates must buy independent
medical liability insurance

submit
the
computerized prescription to pharmacy in order to
receive medicine
-upon discrepancy in opinions between team
doctors and doctors at Polyclinic,the latter will be
prioritized
-special procedures will be followed for prohibited
drugs in Hanbook

IV.NOC Team Doctor


Entry and Exit of Medicine and Medical
Equipment
- medical supplies and devices carried by team
doctors are only allowed to use for their athletes
and related personnel
- IAGOC is free from duty of safekeeping those
medical supplies and devices
-must store unused medicine and medical
supplies in its original condition until time to use
- unused medical supplies and devices should be
shipped out of South Korea within from the
closing of the game

- 17th Asian Games areneedle-free
for all participating athletes
- Exceptions:
Medically qualitified practitioners for the
clinically justified treatment of injury,illness
or other medical conditions( for which a valid
TUE may be required)
Those requiring auto-injection therapy for an
established medical condition with a valid
TUE

1. Plans for Ensuring Food & Beverage Safety

F&B Safety and Sanitation Measures Situation Desk(Polyclinic 3rd

- general management of F&B inspectors and sanitation T/F team
in the food service area(total 8 organization /172 personnel)
-conduct inspection in food service area including Dining Hall in

- conduct trough inspection on the food suppliers of HQ Hotels
- monitor and report unusual case such as food poisoning

- organize Sanitation T/F (28 teams/106 personnel): conduct
preventive
measures

- monitor and prompt report for unusual case such as new type
of communicable disease
