    The Beginnings
    Aristotle was born in 384 BC
    His father was physician to the king of
    Macedonia.
    When he was 7, he went to study at
    Platos Academy.
    Began as a student, became a
    researcher and finally a teacher.
    Was considered one of Platos best
    students.
    Aristotle left and founded the Lyceum.

    Conclusion

    Happiness is the ultimate end and purpose of


    human existence
    Happiness is not pleasure, nor is it virtue. It is
    the exercise of virtue.
    Happiness cannot be achieved until the end of
    ones life. Hence it is a goal and not a temporary
    state.
    Happiness is the perfection of human nature.
    Since man is a rational animal, human
    happiness depends on the exercise of his
    reason.
