Definition
Quality assurance: is any systematic
process of checking to see whether a
product or service being developed is
meeting specified requirements.
A quality assurance system is said to
increase customer confidence and
institutions credibility. It improves
work processes and efficiency. It also
enable a company/business or
institution to better compete with
others.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidentiality is the protection of personal
information. Confidentiality means keeping
official information and not telling others
including co-workers, friends, family, etc.
It speaks about our integrity, reliability and
trust worthiness.
Even with the freedom of information Bill in
operation, no staff is allowed to divulge official
information at will.
Especially secretaries who receives mails
frequently. You should not be displaying memos
on your table carelessly for others to see.
RESPONSIVENESS
Responsiveness is the act of been prompt
to act on our responsibilities.
Been responsible and responsive to issues
is an attitude you and I can develop.
it is the key factor that give you identity
and affect your integrity.
It helps professionals to excel in their
areas.
Examples : 1. replying mails on time with
the required information
We must organize our time well to be able
to meet target
on it?
We need to keep a healthy relationship with
people.
Use technology to follow-up, like phone, text etc
we need to shift our perspective- to be effective
Pragmatism : be proactive in what you are doing
Priotization: keep file for urgent matters & others
to be done normally. e.g rush, today, etc
Perfection is often not valued than meeting the
target.
