and Plumbing (MEP), and has provided quality engineering services to the Middle East since its
establishment in Egypt back in 1981.

The companys expertise in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contracting ranges from
providing complete solutions through Design, Engineering& Procurement (DEP) and services across
Egypt, all the way to water & power solutions including maintenance and operations.
Omega has successfully completed many prestigious projects in Egypt. Some recently completed
projects include BIBLIOTHECA, EGYPTIAN MUSEUM, & SMART VILLAGE.
Omega proudly leads an experienced team that efficiently works together to link their strengths and
experiences therefore bringing every customer the best in technical services and project management
through experienced on-site project teams , the expertise necessary in management , coordination
,planning, purchasing, and quality control. This way we ensure that projects are completed as per client

contracting Subsidiaries share a common characteristic which is their ability to build and
maintain lasting customer relationships. Omega Subsidiaries work together to bring their customers
superior service anytime, anywhere.
Omega was originally founded to operate in MEP contracting being engaged mainly in
electromechanical contracting.
During 2006, and in accordance with the company s growth strategy to expand vertically and
horizontally (organically and inorganically), Omega Export & Import was established.
In December 2009, Omega for Investment was established to cover the field of real estate investment
in Egypt and the Arab world.
THE HISTORY
OMEGA Contracting was first formed in Egypt in 1981 Operating under the name of Ramico. In 1999 the
company developed into Omega Contractors, entering a whole new era.
Our expertise has made us market leaders, providing technical and support services to both the private and
public sectors in a number of major niches. We help our clients get the most out of their assets by applying our
30 year experience, diligence, professionalism, and local know-how combined with global knowledge and
forward thinking. W e optimally use our resource to provide our clients with maximum quality, at the least

Health, Safety, and Environment Policy Documents

Summary:
These mandatory minimum standards are intended as the minimum basis upon which
sites will
establish a sustainable safe and healthy environment at work, to maximize performance. This will
mean anticipating changes in requirements (being pro-active rather than reactive) and each operating
unit and employee taking major responsibility for these areas.
The term employee should be interpreted to include all employees, both permanent and temporary, at
all levels.
1. Omega Safety policy

Prevention:
1- Each site must comply with all local safety legislations and with any project owner company
standards. Compliance will be with whichever is the stricter of these and it must be documented.
2- Each site must have regulatory procedures/ check- ups to ensure compliance with the safety
legislations, and must have safety clearance for all materials used to ensure that they are eco friendly.
3- Each site must identify those process steps that are critical for the safety of the labor & / or process
(Critical control points) and establish a system to control and monitor these.
4- Each employees responsibility for safety must be identified and understood. Appropriate training
must be given to prepare employees against potential hazards or accidents.
5- Omega must have procedures in place for monitoring site complaints, investigating them and
dealing with them promptly, to approach to zero accident loss time (ALT.)
6- At Omega we have procedures in place to assess safety incidents, plans to manage any equipment
failure, and procedures to report such problems to the project owner according to Omega policies for
safety, health and the environment.
2. Omega Health policy

Prevention:
(1) Each site must have up-to-date written procedures according to health and safety Policy which
complies with the local work law. They must be signed by the current senior line person on site.
(2) Each site must comply with all local health and safety legislations and with any project owner
company standards. Compliance will be with whichever is the stricter of these and it must be
documented.
(3) Each site must establish emergency plans for all reasonably foreseeable emergencies and ensure
their effectiveness by undertaking regular exercise drills at least bi-monthly.
(4) All employees must be given appropriate training covering safety induction, and safety awareness
training. Such training must be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure efficiency where any
adjustments will be immediately communicated to all employees.
Incidents
(5) Each site must establish and fully implement an accident/incident reporting and investigation
procedure. Each site must collate and keep records of their safety performance as required by their
management group to identify common work related injuries and implement any preventive measures
necessary.
3. Omega Environment policy

Prevention:
1- Each site must have an up-to-date written environmental policy, which complies with the local
environmental law. It must be signed by the current senior person on site.
2- Each site must comply with all local environmental legislation and with any project owner company
standards. Compliance will be with whichever is the stricter of these and it must be documented.
3- Each site must establish emergency plans for all reasonably foreseeable environmental emergencies
to avoid any possible harm to the environment.
4- And ensure their effectiveness by undertaking regular exercise drills at least bi-monthly.
5- All employees, including those with specific environmental responsibilities must be given
appropriate training, suitable for the execution of their responsibilities. Such training must be regularly
reviewed and updated.
Personal Protective Equipments (P.P.E)

Omega will supply site employees the following PPE:
1. Helmet.
2. Safety shoes. (Shock, electricity, oil proof.)
3. Safety belts.
4. Welding faces. (Incase if there is any welding.)
5. Chip glasses. (For protection / during cutting materials. pipe, etc)
6. Safety gloves.
7. Safety electrical plugs (water proof with cover.)
Notes:
* All equipments used (in cutting forming, welding, etc.) are protected by emergency switches &
Automatic cut-offs in case of accidents.
COMMITMENT TO QUALTY
Our Quality Management System meets the requirement of international standard ISO 9001: 2000 it
encompasses all of the processes involved in the provision of production and services, from initial
enquiry through to implementation, operation and reporting
The Products and services we provide are managed in accordance with quality Plants tailored to meet
our clients specific requirements and the local regulations. In order to ensure compliance with our
Quality Management Systems, regularly quality audits are carried out throughout the organization.
Quality Assurance Policy

Omega applies strict policies when it comes to quality. By enforcing such policies, we are always able
to meet agreed contractual specifications defined by the customer, government, and international
quality standards.
Omega quality procedure will assure sustainable quality of all pipes, equipments, junctions &
installments, etc.
This procedure will include:
(1) Samples representing the lot (5%) will be traced on site every day.
(2) These tracing samples will be totally identified for trace back of problems by labeling with
different codes.
(3) Any out of specification material will go directly to the rejection area, to be treated as scrap.
(4) On-line tests will be applied in every stage of the process to ensure compliance with working
specifications.
(5) All type of inspection & methods of doing it will be available in the quality test appendix
(submitted later on).
