Objectives:
i. listen to a song and identify the words
heard correctly.
ii. talk about how they can save the earth
based on the video

Teaching and Learning Activity


Pre-listening
1.Show pupils the music video for the Earth
Song (muted).
2.Pupils talk about what they see
happening to the earth in the video.

While-listening
1.Pupils listen to the Earth Song and answer
the questions on Task Sheet 1 (High
achiever)
2.Pupils watch and listen to the Earth
Songs lyrics video and answer the
questions on Task Sheet 1 (Medium and
low achiever)

Post-listening
1.Teacher divides the pupils into group of
four.
2.In group, they discuss about the video.
(a) Whats happening to our earth?
(b) What can we do to save our earth?
3. Pupils present their discussion using mind
map.

Techniques of adaptation
1. Addition
Add in exercise/ task sheet
devise few activities/add activities
e.g. fill in the blanks,
conversation/discussion
using mind map

2. Reduction
shorten the song video during whilelistening stage
unnecessary information is cut

3. Branching
add options to existing activity to suggest
alternative pathways
for e.g.
- the low achiever
- high achiever
