Pt. JAGDISH 40 Yrs. Male


Resident of Civil Lines, Kanpur
Presented with Clinical Features of :Pain in right hip region.

-12 Hours

Swelling in right hip region. - 12 Hours

Inability to bear weight on right side.


12 Hours

After getting significant trauma following fell from


height 10 ft. 12 Hours back DOI. 24.7.06
There was no other associated injury.

On Examination

Diffuse swelling was present over right hip

region.

Diffuse tenderness was present in all over right

hip region more on base of scarpas triangle and


iliac bone.

Movements of right hip were painful & restricted.

Active SLR was not present on right side.

Compression-distraction test was positive on right


side.

INVESTIGATION

Routine investigations were within normal


limits.

Radiological 1. Plain X-ray


Pelvis with both hips AP

Presented with Clinical Features of :

Pain in left hip region.

Swelling in left hip region.

Inability to bear weight on left side. - 24

accident 24 Hours back. DOI- 10 July, 06

Head Injury.
Chest Injury
Forearm Injury left side

On Examination

Diffuse swelling was present over left hip region.

Diffuse tenderness was present in all over left hip


region more on base of scarpas triangle.

Resident of 127/298, Julsi, Jarra, Kanpur c/o fruit
wala opp. LLR Hosp.
Presented with Clinical Features of :Pain in left hip region.

-24 Hours

Swelling in left hip region.

- 24 Hours

Inability to bear weight on left side.

- 24 Hours

After getting significant trauma following fall from


height 10 ft. 24 Hours back DOI. 18.10.06 as a result
of collision between truck and DCM.
There was no other associated injury.

On Examination

Diffuse swelling was present over left hip region.

Diffuse tenderness was present in all over left

hip region more on base of scarpas triangle and


iliac bone.

Movements of left hip were painful & restricted.

Active SLR was not present on left side.

Compression-distraction test was positive on left


side.
