Summary
The six characters interrupts the rehearsal of
another Pirandellan play telling that they are in search for
an author and demanding that their story be put to a play.
The manager agrees to become their author and lets the
six characters tell and act their drama until the last scene
where the child drowned in the fountain and the boy
shooting himself with a revolver. The manager and the
other actors, watching the entire scene, are unable to tell if
it is still acting or if it is the reality, thus, the manager ending
the whole thing and calls for the end of the rehearsal.
