COMPUTING

What is Cloud
Computing?

Cloud computingis a type ofInternet-based

computing that provides shared computer
processing resources and data to computers
and other devices on demand. It is a model for
enabling ubiquitous, on-demand access to a
shared pool of configurable computing
resources
When we store photos online or use any social
network site we are actually using cloud
computing as a service.

As A Service

Software As A Service

Most known and first service , major service

given as part o Cloud Computing service. In this
case the application itself is provided by the
service provider, typically via web browser.

Software as a service allows organization to

access a business functionality at a cost
typically less than paying for licensed
applications since SaaS pricing is based on a
monthly fee.
When we use Google Drive or Office Online to
create our documents we are using SaaS.

Platform as a service

Paas, the base of a system like the Operating

system, programming language, database and
web server are provided as a service through
cloud computing .

It is a way to rent hardware, operating systems,

storage and network capacity over the internet.
It allows to rent virtualized servers on rent.

Infrastructure as a
service

It is similar to platform as a service but

consumers cannot control the cloud
infrastructure. In this case organization
outsources the equipment used to support
operations. The client typically pays on a peruse basis
When we are able to delegate a program to
execute on remote OS we are using Iaas.
