Definition
Anticoagulants are drugs that
reduce the ability of blood clotting.
Due to the reduced clotting ability,
less dangerous clots that could
clog blood vessels are formed.

Definicin
Los anticoagulantes son frmacos que reducen la capacidad de
coagulacin de la sangre. Debido a la menor capacidad de
coagulacin, se forman menos cogulos peligrosos que podran
obstruir los vasos sanguneos.

ASA is an NSAID used in the
treatment of mild to moderate
pain
associated
with
inflammation. Reduction of fever.
Treatment and prophylaxis of

Indications

Profilaxis y tratamiento de trombosis venosas y su extensin.
Prevencin post-operatoria de trombosis venosas profundas y
embolismo pulmonar en pacientes sujetos a intervenciones de
ciruga mayor abdominal.

Precautions
It should not be used in patients
with severe thrombocytopenia or
when they can not be carried out at
appropriate intervals necessary

No deber usarse en pacientes con trombocitopenia severa o cuando

Posology

deep, initially of 10,000 to 20,000 I.U.
every 8 hours, followed by 8,000 to
10,000 I.U. every 8 hours, or 15,000
to 20,000 I.U. every 12 hours or as
determined by coagulation tests.

Dosis habitual para adultos: subcutnea profunda, inicialmente de
10000 a 20000 U.I. cada 8 horas, seguida de 8000 a 10000 U.I. cada

determinado por las pruebas de coagulacin.

WARFARIN
Warfarin is an oral anticoagulant
drug used to prevent the
formation of thrombi and emboli.
